Genshin Impact 4★ Geo Catalyst Main DPS
Vivid Notions is the closest fit on the game's own numbers: Ningguang's kit multiplies ATK, and a weapon is ranked here on whether its ascension stat and its passive act on that stat. Reliquary of Truth, Royal Grimoire and Nocturne's Curtain Call come next. No playtested ranking has been imported for Ningguang, so this is arithmetic over the kit data rather than a damage measurement.
Run Archaic Petra on Ningguang, with A Day Carved From Rising Winds and Disenchantment in Deep Shadow behind it. Main stats are ATK% sands, Geo DMG Bonus goblet, CRIT Rate / CRIT DMG circlet. Roll substats in the order CRIT Rate > CRIT DMG > ATK% > Energy Recharge.
Talent priority is Normal Attack > Elemental Skill > Elemental Burst. The Elemental Burst costs 40 energy, which is what an Energy Recharge target has to clear.
The strongest team is Xiao, Jean, Ningguang and Zhongli, built around Ningguang: Geo · Swirl.
Normal Attack Shoots gems that deal Geo DMG. Upon hit, this grants Ningguang 1 Star Jade.
Charged Attack Consumes a certain amount of stamina to fire off a giant gem that deals Geo DMG. If Ningguang has any Star Jades, unleashing a Charged Attack will cause the Star Jades to be fired at the enemy as well, dealing additional DMG.
Plunging Attack Gathering the might of Geo, Ningguang plunges towards the ground from mid-air, damaging all opponents in her path. Deals AoE Geo DMG upon impact with the ground.
