Neuvillette’s Charged Attack: Equitable Judgement scales off his Normal Attacks, making them a priority to level. His character level should also be focused on because of it being the only way to improve his base HP. His Burst and Skill are used in rotations, but contribute a fairly low share of his damage and are a low priority.
When using Neuvillette’s Charged Attack, releasing the attack input right as three Sourcewater Droplets are absorbed allows Neuvillette to fire off the Charged Attack almost instantly rather than having to wait for the startup animation. Due to how often his Charged Attack is used, this cancel is very beneficial to perform. Another tech involving his Charged Attack is generally only easily executable if using a mouse and keyboard. Due to 0.4 second interval between damage instances to a given enemy, Neuvillette can spin around rapidly while still getting all 8 instances of damage from his Charged Attack. This allows him to hit enemies in a full AoE around him without needing to move for proper positioning.
If Neuvillette is short of Energy for his Burst in a rotation, he can opt to sit through the 4 second startup to launch his Charged Attack. While Neuvillette should generally try to avoid this, it can be useful in certain situations such as Stygian starts.
