The Pied Piper: How to Get the Hidden Achievement in Genshin Impact 7.2

To get The Pied Piper, find the four Jack Frosts in Downtown Novokitezhgrad and walk up to each one: it starts following you, and the achievement unlocks once all four have followed you. It is a hidden achievement in the Wonders of the World category, added with version 7.2 on 4 November 2026, and its in-game line is simply “Ya-ho. Ya-ho. Ya-ho. Ya-ho…”.

There is nothing to carry and no puzzle to solve. Walking close is enough: the snowman turns and trots after you, the way the children followed the piper in the tale the achievement is named after. And you do not need to gather the four at once. As the video puts it, “you do not need all of them to follow you at the same time”: talk each one into following you once, in any order, and the counter does the rest.

All four Jack Frosts are in Downtown Novokitezhgrad, the new Snezhnaya city of version 7.2, marked by the four white stars on Kramiel’s map: one at the north-west edge of the district by the canal, one north just above the “Downtown Novokitezhgrad” label, one in the centre below that label on its east side, and one in the south-west district.

The quickest way to follow along is to place a custom pin on each star, as Kramiel does at 0:05, and walk the loop. Each Jack Frost wears a different hat, which makes it easy to tell which one you have already collected: a blue beanie, a yellow star, an ice crystal and a top hat. If you are exploring the city anyway, the Crystal-Tree Grotto chest guide covers the cavern beneath it.

Each Jack Frost waits on its own and starts following you the moment you walk up to it. Here they are in the order the video collects them.

The fourth is the one in the top hat, holding a tambourine. Walk up to it and, if the other three have already followed you, the achievement notification appears on the spot.
