What it is
The Abyss splits into two halves that behave differently. Floors 1 to 8 are permanent: clear them once, keep the stars, never think about them again. Floors 9 to 12 reset twice a month with a new enemy line-up and a new set of blessings, and they are where the 600 primogems per cycle live. Each chamber is scored on a clock, so the constraint is damage per rotation rather than total damage. A team that kills everything in ninety seconds scores nothing if the limit was ninety.

Tips
- 1Two teams, not one. The second team is what gates most runs.
- 2Two teams, not one. Floors 9 to 12 need two full parties, and the second team is what gates most players rather than the first.
- 3Read the Abyssal Moon blessing before building. It changes each cycle and can be worth more than a constellation.
- 4The clock rewards burst windows over sustained damage. A team that front-loads a rotation beats one with a higher damage ceiling.
How to clear it
The in-game description explains the rules and says nothing about the constraint that actually decides a run: the clock. Every chamber is scored on time, so the Abyss rewards damage inside a burst window rather than total damage output. That is why a team built for the overworld often stalls at floor 11 despite clearing everything the overworld has.
Step 1: Read the Abyssal Moon blessing first
It changes every cycle and can swing a floor harder than a constellation. Building a team before reading it wastes the run.
Step 2: Build two teams, not one
Floors 9 to 12 need two parties in the same chamber pair. The second team is what stops most players, not the first.
Step 3: Check the enemy line-up per chamber
Each chamber names its enemies before you enter. A shielded Abyss Mage pack wants a specific element; an Ruin Guard pack wants raw damage.
Step 4: Clear floors 1 to 8 once
They are permanent and never reset. The primogems from them are a one-off, and they are the cheapest stars in the mode.
Step 5: Take the star conditions seriously
Nine stars per floor needs the time limit met in all three chambers. Two stars is often the difference between 600 primogems and 500.
Spiral Abyss FAQ
4 questionsWhen does Spiral Abyss end?
Spiral Abyss closes on 16 October 2026 at 04:00 server time, and the next cycle follows straight after. That is ends in 13 days.
How often does the Spiral Abyss reset?
Floors 9 to 12 reset on the 1st and the 16th of each month. Floors 1 to 8 are permanent and never reset.
How many primogems is a full Abyss clear?
600 per cycle for 36 stars across floors 9 to 12, so 1,200 per version if both cycles are cleared fully.
Do I need two full teams?
Yes, for floors 9 to 12. Each chamber has two halves and characters cannot be reused between them within the same chamber.
