What it is
Where the Abyss tests two teams, the Theater tests eight or more characters across specified elements. Each month names the elements it will accept, and the run is a sequence of stages with escalating difficulty where characters used in one stage stay committed. That inverts the usual optimisation: the question is not who your best team is, but whether you have enough depth in the named elements to field several viable ones.

Tips
- 1Check the named elements at the start of the month. Levelling a character to 70 takes days of Resin.
- 2Breadth beats investment here. Eight level-70 characters with reasonable artifacts clear more than four maxed ones.
- 3The trial characters offered each month are worth using: they cost nothing from your own roster.
- 4Check the named elements at the start of the month, not the end. Levelling a character from 1 to 70 takes days of resin.
How to clear it
The Theater looks like a second Abyss and is not. The Abyss asks how strong your best two teams are; the Theater asks how many characters you own in three named elements. Investment past a certain point stops helping, and a roster of eight adequately built characters outperforms four excellent ones.
Step 1: Check the named elements at the start of the month
The elements are set for the month. Levelling a character from 1 to 70 takes days of resin, so finding out on the last week is finding out too late.
Step 2: Count your eligible characters before starting
The difficulty tier you can attempt is gated on how many level-70 characters you have in the named elements.
Step 3: Use the trial characters
Each run offers trial characters at no cost to your roster. They fill the elements you are short on.
Step 4: Spend the opening stages on your weaker characters
Characters stay committed once used. Leading with your strongest team leaves the hard stages to whatever is left.
Imaginarium Theater FAQ
3 questionsWhen does Imaginarium Theater end?
Imaginarium Theater closes on 1 November 2026 at 04:00 server time, and the next cycle follows straight after. That is ends in 29 days.
What do I need to unlock the Imaginarium Theater?
Adventure Rank 35 and at least eight characters at level 70.
Is the Theater harder than the Spiral Abyss?
Different rather than harder. It tests roster breadth in specified elements instead of the strength of two teams, so a narrow account with two excellent teams finds it harder and a wide account finds it easier.
